Cisco Room Integration Suite
This modular suite, consisting of the Cisco Room Device Driver, Cisco Source Expansion, and Cisco Room Control Module, can be used independently or combined to build exactly the integration you need. Available on both LARA 1.x and LARA 2.0.
Three modules, one powerful integration:
- Room Device Driver: connects to the Cisco Room Device via xAPI to enable automation and control features, while also registering the Lightware device as a video switcher peripheral on Cisco Control Hub, providing device name, serial number, firmware version, and online/offline status directly from the Cisco ecosystem.
- Source Expansion Module: manage crosspoint switching across multiple sources and displays from the Cisco Touch Panel. Supports multi-device TPX setups.
- Room Control Module: extend Cisco Touch Panels with custom room controls (displays, lighting, blinds, projectors) powered by LARA automation.

Legacy Cisco Room Configuration Wizard Integration
For installations built on MMX, TPS, or UMX series devices, the Cisco Room Configuration Wizard (CRCW) delivers a no-code, wizard-driven setup. It's an earlier integration solution that is no longer under active development, but remains supported. Built on the Event Manager engine, it generates a ready-to-deploy configuration with source expansion and basic room control, with no programming needed.

- No new features will be added
- Use when: You have existing legacy Lightware hardware and need a stable, low-maintenance integration

Cisco Webex Script Module
The Cisco Webex Script Module is a LARA 1.3 module for standalone device deployments. It's an earlier LARA-based integration solution that is no longer under active development, but remains supported. It provides source switching and Cisco Webex Room Device integration out of the box, with minimal setup required. It can be converted for use in LARA 2.0, though it is not a native LARA 2.0 module.
- UCX Standalone devices (Taurus UCX series), MMX2 Standalone Matrices, DCX Standalone Matrices
- Taurus TPX and TPN: device-level support only, not recommended for complex multi-device systems
- LARA 1.3.x only as default module; when launched in LARA 2.0 the module will be converted automatically

LARA Wizard offers basic Cisco integration for meeting rooms built on the Cisco Webex Script Module. Users select BYOD and Room Device sources directly from the Cisco Navigator touch panel, with configurable source button labels. It supports all MMX2 and UCX, DCX standalone and TX-RX bundles, three Cisco models (Room Kit EQ, Room Bar, Room Bar Pro), with Cisco device control over Ethernet or Serial port.
